While there are many websites on the Internet that advertise free sessions, the majority of these sessions last a limited time, typically three to five minutes. After those first free minutes are up, the clock starts ticking, and you start paying for any more fortune telling or advice. So, are there other ways to get free clairvoyant advice, and why do some people have the "gift" of seeing the future when others don't?

Most small towns have at least one or two clairvoyants, and they can charge just about whatever they choose. Often, readings that are done in person may not last over 15 minutes or so, and they could cost $30.00 or more per reading. A free reading is hard to come by, but if you have services that you can offer in trade, you may be able to finagle a reading without exchanging any cash. • Do some practice runs on your own, such as imagining who is on the other end of a ringing telephone or chiming doorbell. Pay attention to your intuition. Other practice areas could include guessing the outcome of a ball game you are attending, guessing the number of a roll of dice as it is rolled or cards as they are chosen. There are so many areas where you can practice your psychic abilities, such as guessing which floors people will choose in elevators, or which movies people will attend.
• As you become more adept at these and other exercises, gear your mind towards more specific events, such as predicting what co-workers will wear to work or guessing what friends and/or family members might be doing over the weekend.
• Your goal is to bring an area of your consciousness that you rarely use back to life. You want to raise your awareness. You should develop a meditation routine as well.

Once you've practiced these exercises and become more confident in your abilities, you can begin practicing on specific friends. In turn, encourage your friends to do the same. Eventually, you can all begin to give each other free psychic readings. Will it work? Maybe, and maybe not, but who is to say that your ability is any less legitimate than someone on the Internet or in your city or town?
