Recent Ouija Board Stories
From LoveToKnow Paranormal
With the growth of sites on the Internet where they can tell their stories, more and more fans and casual users of the Ouija board are sharing their own recent Ouija board stories. Some of these stories are innocent enough, while others demonstrate a thorough lack of respect for the board as a tool for spirit communication. The scariest stories demonstrate a level of stupidity that is almost as difficult to believe as the stories themselves. Each story below offers an example of what happens when the basic rules of Ouija board use are violated.
Recent Ouija Board Stories – Not So Likely Guardian Angel
At Your Ghost Stories.com, a young woman told her tale of first being contacted by her deceased uncle whom she believed was her guardian angel. The next person who came through was a young man she and her fiancée once knew who had died tragically.
The woman questioned her uncle regarding the future passing of a friend and then about her own passing. The uncle answered as to the passing of her friend, but the board refused to tell her the date of her own death. Both she and her fiancée protected themselves by saying a prayer of protection and surrounding themselves with items important to their faith.
The woman and her fiancée should have remembered a key Ouija board truth; an elemental or demonic spirit cannot predict the future. Everything provided in this session, even how her friend would pass, was a future prediction.
It's important to remember that our Guardian Angels are too powerful to be subjected to the whim of a talking board. When angels make their presence known in our lives, it is usually in either unmistakable or very subtle ways of their own choosing.
It is all too true that the board is most likely to attract the elemental, the demon and even young spirits who are still deeply attached to this world and plane of existence. As this particular Ouija board story shows, the woman most likely interacted with an elemental that was able to sense emotion and memories through her touch on the planchette.
Chivalry is Dead - Literally
At the same website, a person with the user name of Darkgemini describes coming to the rescue of his girlfriend. She was enamored by the board and played it constantly. One night, the board began swearing at her, and she sat there and took it. In a fit of anger and concern, Darkgemini threw the board into the fire. This happened in May of 2009, and the man stated that his life has been forever negatively impacted.
He now feels something attached to him and his home. He receives phone calls with a deep voice in the background speaking in an unknown language. He catches shadows moving out of the corner of his eye and his electrical appliances keep going haywire. He feels under attack – and he is.
If the board begins swearing at participants, counting down backward or attempting to defame a person's spiritual belief, it is being likely being controlled by a demon. Avoid your first reaction to destroy the board. It is a communication portal and must be closed, and the session must be ended on your terms. To immediately close the board, move the planchette to the word "goodbye" yourself, and firmly tell the spirit that the session is over and that it is never welcome back near you, your family or your friends. Immediately remove your fingers!
The final stage is to close the board. Join hands and offer a prayer of forgiveness and one of thanks, invoking God in whatever form you believe Him or Her to take in order to surround yourselves with the force and power of light and good. Finally, either burn the board or dispose of it in the trash.
A Spirit of Recklessness Can Bring Forth a Reckless Spirit
Yet another story on the same site relates a situation that happened earlier in the year to a girl in Great Britain. At one point, her boarding school went through a big Ouija board craze. Girls around the ages of 13 and 14 began holding sessions. At one of these sessions, the author of the story got bored when nothing seemed to be happening. Later, a friend ran up to her, scared out of her mind, and told her that the spirit of the board had talked of throwing her downstairs. The author soothed her friend's fears, but a few days later her friend fell down a flight of stairs and swore that she was pushed. The girls in the group had said a prayer of protection. So, what went wrong?
Adolescents are ripe with emotions and chemical reactions taking place in their bodies. They give off energy. This energy can feed and power a base spirit or other spirit captured in the lower earth plane, and this gives it power. This is why young children and teenagers should never play with Ouija boards. The girl was lucky she was not killed, and the prayer of protection likely saved her life.
When it comes to playing with the Ouija board, these recent Ouija board stories show that there are never 100% proof positive ways to protect yourself and your playing cohorts from mischievous and downright dangerous spirits. Do yourself and your friends a favor; there are enough tales of Ouija board stories gone wrong; do not add to the statistics by playing with or messing around with the spirit board.
