When it comes to any list of real haunted places in America, there are many locations to choose from. These include cemeteries, hotels, mansions, homes and even objects like dolls and other antiquities.

The White House in Washington, DC has a fairly violent past - burned by the British in 1814 and the location of several assassination attempts - the ghosts that haunt this building include Abraham Lincoln, Andrew Jackson, Dolly Madison and Abigail Adams.
