Hi Jim, thank you for sharing your story with us. It sounds as though you have some training and equipment. Have you conducted any research about your property to see if perhaps a previous owner died in the house or if previous owners had similar experiences? As long as you don't feel threatened, then it's possible to share a house with ghosts (spirits). Best of Luck. Keep us updated.

I swear I have a spirit in my house. It lingers on my stairs and upstairs hallway. I feel their presence in the form of chills up my spine and hair standing up on the back of my neck. I have also felt someone watching me on numerous occasions. I believe it is a spirit of some sort; why it's here is a different story. I wish i knew who and why. It's not harmful so I just leave it be but I still want to know. I have done some EVP and the results amazed me! I have gotten 4 EVPs so far in my experiments, one in my very own house and 3 at my local cemetary. I really believe in the paranormal and for those who are skeptical, I can kind of understand, but don't rule the existance out just because you haven't seen or heard it! Believe me, I have gotten results.

Hi BeAfraid - thanks for sharing your amazing experience! That's certainly the sort of event that would scare anyone, it's like something out of a Stephen King novel. Thanks so much for sharing the story with us.

have you ever felt... like you're not alone :( have you ever heard something thats just not real or seen something or someone who's not there. & you think "im just crazy" for even considering that maybe... maybe there is ... something there ? because, i was walking home one day with some friends and they all dared me to go to this lake called "lake wanaka" which is right next to a graveyard? so there's a story that the old doctor of the town just went completely crazy and killed 13 children and dumped all their bodies into the lake. after that the doctor acted...strange he kept telling people he saw the children. heard their voices. a week later he was found in the lake. :( some people say he drowned himself along with his giult. others say the childrens spirits held him under the water so he would join them on the other side. so i did the dare because of course i thought it was fake. but. i went down to the lake and it seemed tainted red. like blood. and i screamed. my friends all asked what was wrong. i pointed to the water and they shone the light on it. it was normal. at first i thoguht i was just seeing things but then. i looked over into the graveyard. it was dark but over mr alistar's (the doctor) gravestone there was a tall dark figure. at first i thought it was a family member or loved one but then i looked at the bottom of his long dark jacket and i noticed... he wasn't standing? the cloak ended but his legs weren't there!? he was... floating? in the moment i noticed the dark figure turned around. his face water damaged. streaked with pain. he was suddenly surrounded by children they were clinging off him. as if holding him there like they wouldnt let him leave. i ran as fast as i could and didnt look back
